The exhibition features sculptures made entirely out of cans of food, and after all is said and done the sculptures will be dismantled and tens of thousands of pounds of food will be donated to local food banks. The creations are quite inventive &#8212; they&#8217;re made by people who work for places like design firms and architectural firms, and the New York Chapter of the Society for Design Administration organizes it, so, you know, they all look sharp.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently everyone loves Angry Birds:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/bigmap\/manhattan\/lowermanhattan\/financialdistrict\/wfc\/11-16-11\/1311-16-11.jpg\" alt=\"Cangry Birds By DeSimone Consulting Engineers, Canstruction 2011, World Financial Center, Financial District, Lower Manhattan\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/bigmap\/manhattan\/lowermanhattan\/financialdistrict\/wfc\/11-16-11\/4011-16-11.jpg\" alt=\"Hungry Birds By Ennead Architects, Canstruction 2011, World Financial Center, Financial District, Lower Manhattan\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And the recent Alexander McQueen exhibit at the Met made a splash as well:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/bigmap\/manhattan\/lowermanhattan\/financialdistrict\/wfc\/11-16-11\/1211-16-11.jpg\" alt=\"Lobster Claw By Arup, Canstruction 2011, World Financial Center, Financial District, Lower Manhattan\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/bigmap\/manhattan\/lowermanhattan\/financialdistrict\/wfc\/11-16-11\/3711-16-11.jpg\" alt=\"Alexander McCan By Kohn Pederson Fox, Canstruction 2011, World Financial Center, Financial District, Lower Manhattan\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The other thing in high demand: puns.
