Chuffed from their World Series win, the Phillies Team Shop was selling unsubtle &#8220;Two Years Running&#8221; shirts that depicted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bridgeandtunnelclub.com\/bigmap\/queens\/fmcp\/shea\/mrmet\/index.htm\">Mr. Met<\/a> chasing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bridgeandtunnelclub.com\/bigmap\/outoftown\/pennsylvania\/philadelphia\/south\/phillies\/phanatic\/index.htm\">Phanatic<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/bigmap\/outoftown\/pennsylvania\/philadelphia\/south\/phillies\/04-04-09\/02twoyearsrunning.jpg\" alt=\"&quot;Two Years Running&quot; T-Shirts, Team Shop, Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, April 4, 2009\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pat Burrell, who left the team on a high note after becoming a free agent at the end of the 2008 season, spent his entire career with the Phillies suffering the abuse of Philly fans notoriously unforgiving about underperforming, overpaid players. He signed with the Rays in the off-season.
