The Only Thing Worse Than A Cubicle Is Not Having One

There will be no more solitaire on Hizzoner’s watch:

The open “bullpen” office concept that Mayor Bloomberg brought to City Hall four years ago is about to be expanded to half a dozen other mayoral agencies, The Post has learned.

One of the spaces on the remodeling list is the city’s Albany lobbying operation, where Bloomberg spied a computer solitaire game on a $27,000-a-year clerk’s computer in February and had him axed.

But officials insist there’s no connection between that widely publicized firing and the office overhaul.

If workers have concerns about the impending loss of their privacy, they’re not about to say so.

“If it makes the mayor happy, it makes us happy,” was all one city employee would say.
