Despite a few quibbles &#8212; &#8220;Busiest Subway Station&#8221; (Main Street 7 Train Station in Flushing) doesn&#8217;t connote &#8220;best&#8221; in my opinion &#8212; it&#8217;s relatively comprehensive. Some things I&#8217;ve never even contemplated include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Library Branch With the Hippest CD Collection&#8221; (Flushing Branch)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Best Place To Hire a Day Laborer&#8221; (69th Street and Roosevelt)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Best Parking Lot&#8221; (Shea Stadium)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Best Place to Throw a Shopping Cart When You&#8217;re Done With It&#8221; (Flushing River Under the Roosevelt Avenue Bridge) (Flushing River also scores &#8220;Smelliest Waterway&#8221; bragging rights &#8212; again, not a &#8220;Best,&#8221; but no matter)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Prettiest Cemetery&#8221; (Flushing Cemetery) (Only in Queens, Kids, Only in Queens!)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Best Place to Meet a Mom Who Just Moved to Queens From Brooklyn&#8221; (Travers Park in Jackson Heights) (Ew!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Queens Ledger published its fiscal year-end Best Of List.
