It must have been a quiet news cycle.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>For the record, the DA&#8217;s office put out its press release on Tuesday, the first day one of the suspects appeared in court.<\/p>\n<p>Bloomberg also scoffed at the suspects, whose alleged half-million-dollar theft attempt represents a tiny portion of his estimated $13.6 billion fortune.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t think they ever got any money,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Some guy walks in with a check from Bloomberg for $450,000, and he wants to take it all in $100 bills.
