I don&#8217;t:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;The mayor&#8217;s fundamental view is that the government shouldn&#8217;t be telling people who they can and cannot marry, but that change has to come from Albany, not through making misrepresentations to a government agency,&#8221; said a spokesman for Mayor Bloomberg.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In other words, &#8220;The mayor&#8217;s fundamental view is that the government shouldn&#8217;t be telling people who they can and cannot marry, but not by making misrepresentations to a government agency.&#8221;  Meaning, &#8220;the government shouldn&#8217;t be making misrepresentations to a government agency,&#8221; right?<\/p>\n<p>But when in doubt, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nypost.com\/seven\/06152009\/news\/regionalnews\/pedi_cure_plan_174351.htm\">suddenly crack down on pedicabs<\/a>, because they&#8217;re just annoying.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Does anyone understand what this statement means?
