Celebrating Valentine’s Day on Staten Island — the Advance shows us how<\/a>:<\/p>\n

It’s one-stop shopping at Linda Lingerie Boutique in Grasmere.<\/p>\n

Celebrating her seventh Valentine’s Day in business, owner Linda Vinciguerra explained that she goes the extra mile to present men with the ultimate gift for their special ladies.<\/p>\n

Starting with a generous spritz of rose-scented perfume inside each shiny red bag, she gently wraps the lingerie in tissue paper before stuffing it inside along with a heaping handful of chocolate candy, to create the perfect Valentine’s effect.<\/p>\n

“They’ve got the roses in the bag, the chocolate, the lingerie — they’re all set,” said Ms. Vinciguerra. “I just remind them, do they have a card?”<\/p>\n

“This is a fun business,” she said. “It’s all pleasure and feeling good.”<\/p>\n

But on the flip side, she said, “It’s an impulse business. You’re in the mood, or you’re not.”<\/p>\n

This Valentine’s Day, Ms. Vinciguerra said, many customers have been in the mood for one of her biggest sellers: The heart-shaped edible chocolate thong — for him or her.<\/p>\n

Ms. Vinciguerra says it’s proof of her success that so many couples return to tell her they’re pregnant soon after picking out some lucky lingerie.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
