It takes a special kind of person to burglarize a church<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Donald Domenech, 41, whose address was not immediately available, apparently used his clenched fist and a brick to smash the window of a door at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church at about 11:50 p.m., police said.<\/p>\n

Once inside, court papers said Domenech ripped the drawers out of two wooden cabinets holding offerings, making off with $11.30 in cash.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

After that whopping take, of course the only sensible thing is to indulge one’s inner dick and figure out how to really fuck over a church . . . let’s see here . . . of course, it’s obvious — steal the computer the schoolchildren use:<\/p>\n

He also took a computer used by children attending the parish school, said the Rev. John Sheehan, pastor.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Not to worry though, because cops soon stopped him after noticing his bloody hand. They also found the perp’s crack pipe:<\/p>\n

But less than an hour later, at 12:39 a.m. yesterday, Domenech was arrested by cops from the Mid-Island’s 122nd Precinct as he walked near New Dorp Lane and New Dorp Plaza South, after they observed bleeding cuts on his hands, court papers stated.<\/p>\n

“The cops saw him walking down New Dorp Lane and thought he was suspicious, so they stopped him,” said Father Sheehan.<\/p>\n

“I went to church Sunday and I saw the collections, so I decided if I need some money I would go to the church and get some,” Domenech told the arresting officer, according to court filings. “Got the money and a computer.”<\/p>\n

Domenech, who allegedly was high on crack at the time, also was in possession of a crack pipe with residue, according to police reports.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
