{"id":436,"date":"2017-07-28T22:40:28","date_gmt":"2017-07-29T02:40:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bridgeandtunnelclub.com\/clink\/?p=436"},"modified":"2017-07-28T22:40:28","modified_gmt":"2017-07-29T02:40:28","slug":"fun-with-mezcal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bridgeandtunnelclub.com\/clink\/2017\/07\/28\/fun-with-mezcal\/","title":{"rendered":"Fun With Mezcal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Found <a href=\"http:\/\/newyork.seriouseats.com\/2010\/04\/mix-it-up-the-mezcal-martinez-at-the-empire-room-bar.html\">this &#8220;Mezcal Martinez&#8221; in Serious Eats<\/a> which takes advantage of our late interest in creme de cacao: four parts mezcal, three parts white vermouth, three parts Combier (we used cheap triple sec), two parts creme de cacao, a dash of bitters (I think I used Angostura instead of what they had) and a dash of chocolate bitters (Xocolatl Mole there). <a href=\"http:\/\/www.saveur.com\/mezcal-martinez-cocktail-recipe\">Another version with the same name<\/a> sounds good: eight parts mezcal, two parts sweet vermouth, two parts Cynar and one part Maraschino.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, while trying to figure out what to do with lychee liqueur, I found <a href=\"http:\/\/kindredcocktails.com\/cocktail\/dusky-hummingbird\">this Dusky Hummingbird cocktail that someone created<\/a>: three parts mezcal, one part agave syrup, one part lime juice, one part lychee liqueur and three dashes of absinthe.
