Disgusting Sex Tourists Robbed; Craig’s List Scammers Found With Copies Of Pimp Rule Book

But in all of my years in the business, I have to say that I’ve never actually seen the pimp rule book:

So this guy from Minnesota comes to New York looking for a good time. He goes on craigslist and sees an ad from Tiffany and a few very suggestive photos.

But when boy met girl at the Intercontinental Hotel Sunday, it quickly became clear that a match made in heaven was not in store.

Turns out the hooker wasn’t Tiffany — at least not the woman in the pictures. And she wasn’t particularly interested in providing an “unrushed session.”

What she was interested in was taking his money.

The tourist, whose name was not released, was assaulted and robbed by the woman and her female partner, who was hiding in the hotel room closet, police said.

Candice Lang, 19, and Cedra Neely, 18, each stand about 5-feet-2 and weigh 110 pounds — but police say they’ve become quite the pilfering pair.

They’ve been arrested twice in the past week for robbing and assaulting their unsuspecting johns in midtown hotels, a police source said.

. . .

“They live by the pimp rule book, which means a trick is a trick, and they’ll get their money no matter what,” said the source.

Blame The Internet

The Nigerian e-mail scam migrates from virtual reality to reality reality; authorities discover that dupes are just as gullible in real life:

In a bizarre-sounding crime, two 55-year-old women are being sought for reportedly ripping off $10,000 from a 57-year-old after showing her an equally large amount of cash in a bag.

. . .

The incident took place on Wednesday, April 11th, at approximately 9:20 a.m. at the corner of Liberty Ave. and 112th St. According to the victim, she was approached by the two women, described as black, who showed her money they supposed “found” in a bag.
The suspects told the victim they wanted to invest the cash, but needed an additional $10,000 from her to complete the deal. Apparently, that seemed like a fine idea to their patsy, who readily supplied them with the money. However, after turning it over, the suspects fled in an older model four-door sedan with blue paint.

Run After Him Like Your Job Depended On It

When she said “You better run after him” what she meant was “As Parks commissioner you can’t really afford to have tourists being mugged at one of your sites”:

The city parks commissioner chased down a man who snatched a tourist’s purse Saturday, adding another episode to his alter-ego as a crime fighter.

Adrian Benepe and his wife were walking through Riverside Park in the evening when they heard screams and saw a man running with a purse. According to Mr. Benepe, his wife said to him, “You better run after him.” He did.

The suspect, identified by police as Juaquin Rosario, 40, didn’t struggle when Mr. Benepe caught up to him, the commissioner said. Police arrived shortly after.

Punch-Packing Cheese Is New Dorpese For Something Totally Incomprehensible

Actually, “Do you want some cheese?” seems to be New Dorpese for “What’s the frequency, Kenneth?” but no one is really sure:

A New Dorp man faces an array of misdemeanor assault and drug charges after he asked a youth, “Do you want some cheese?” and then punched him in the face, cops allege.

Police said the suspect, Michael Stuto, 23, of Ebbitts Street, was carrying a box containing Xanax pills and marijuana at the time of the assault, which happened at the corner of New Dorp Lane and Ebbitts Street at 7 a.m. Monday.

The “cheese” comment isn’t explained in court papers, and a law enforcement source was at a loss yesterday to explain what it meant.

Stuto broke the victim’s glasses and gave him a fat lip with the punch, according to court papers.

Now Everyone Will Know The True Story Of Where Mohammad Atta Got His Steroids

This unfortunately does little to combat some popular perceptions of Bay Ridge:

State drug enforcement authorities raided a popular Bay Ridge mom-and-pop pharmacy on Wednesday, seizing hundreds of thousand of dollars worth of steroids and growth hormones.

Workers at Lowen’s Pharmacy were stunned as investigators from the state Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement entered the store and began a search that yielded $200,000 worth of the illegal performance-enhancing medications.

The investigation was first reported Thursday by the New York Daily News. The raid was confirmed by the Albany County District Attorney’s office.

Officials aren’t calling it a “raid,” per se, because narcotics officers are allowed to randomly search any state-regulated pharmacy without a warrant if there is reasonable cause to suspect something untoward is going on.

Those fears were apparently generated by an unrelated investigation by the Albany DA into a pharmacy chain based in Florida.

The Lowen’s “name had come up frequently” in that investigation, Assistant District Attorney Chris Baynes told the News.

. . .

On Thursday, it was business as usual at Lowen’s, whose stately, old-style building is at the corner of Third Avenue and 69th Street.

“Why should I comment to you? We have no comment,” said the pharmacist.

Big bonus points for pulling a shocking — and I think totally, completely unsubstantiated (like, was this actually published anywhere?) — 9/11 card:

It’s not the first time Lowen’s has been linked to a big news story.

Days after the 9-11 attacks, several Bay Ridge residents claimed that hijacker Mohammad Atta was a regular customer at the store.
